Photo Facial

Photo facials are light-based facial treatments that rejuvenate the skin by treating aging skin and pigmentation issues. There are two types of photo facials. IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) photo facials use a broad spectrum of light to treat skin issues like broken blood vessels and sun damage. LED (Light Emitting Diode) photo facial utilizes single wavelength lights to address the issues like acne and collagen production.

IPL facial takes around 30 minutes on each targeted area, while LED facial takes about 30 minutes as a whole. IPL provides quick and longer-lasting results. With LED facials, you need more consistency to see enduring results.

You can prepare for Phot facials by taking the following steps:

  • Do not tan your skin so blemishes can be accurately targeted in IPL treatment.
  • Use sunscreen and moisturizer regularly.
  • Clean your face and be make-free before both procedures.

After Care

Here is what the aftercare for photo facials looks like:

  • Apply moisture and sunscreen.
  • Do not rub or scratch your skin to peel off dead skin.
  • Stay hydrated to promote healing.
  • Do not exfoliate your skin for at least two weeks after IPL treatment.
